Organising a Fortnite tournament or a community league? Blyzer makes the whole process easier – from player registration (solo, duo, trio, squad), through placement and elimination points in every round, to the overall standings, results and stats. Whether it's a custom lobby with 100 players, a school tournament on the projector or a box fight bracket at a LAN party, everything is in one place.
Works for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile – battle royale custom lobbies, Zero Build, Box Fight, Zone Wars and Creative maps.
Why organise Fortnite on Blyzer?
Player and team registration
Solos, duos, trios or squads sign up via a link with their Epic name and platform, you just confirm.
Placement and elimination points
Set up FNCS-style or custom scoring – the standings are recalculated automatically after every round.
Round and lobby schedule
Multiple rounds, multiple custom lobbies, finals day – the system builds the schedule and you just enter results.
Overall standings and archive
Live standings for players, parents and spectators, and your tournament and season history is never lost.
Most popular Fortnite tournament and league formats
Pick the format that fits your event – Blyzer generates the schedule, scoring and standings. You can set up any format in the wizard in a few minutes.
Points-based competition (battle royale)
The classic Fortnite format – everyone in one custom lobby, 4–6 rounds, points for placement and for every elimination. Overall standings by total points, like in FNCS or a Cash Cup.
How to: Create race → Configure → placement and elimination points → number of rounds → enter results after every round.
Qualifiers + finals lobby
With more than 100 players, split the tournament into several qualifying lobbies (groups). The best from each group advance to the finals lobby to play for the overall win.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → number of groups and qualifiers → Generate groups → finals round.
Box Fight / Zone Wars bracket
A head-to-head 1v1 or 2v2 format on a Creative map. Lose a series (e.g. first to 5 wins or BO3) and you're out. A fast, spectator-friendly format for LAN parties or school tournaments.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → no groups, play-off only → Seed players → Generate bracket.
Double elimination
Every player or team gets two chances – after the first loss they continue in the losers' bracket. A fairer format for 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments where one loss shouldn't decide everything.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → double-elimination play-off → Generate bracket.
Long-term league
A multi-week season – one match day per week with several rounds, points add up in the league standings. For schools, clubs, Discord communities and teams.
How to: Create league → Configure → number of match days and players → Generate schedule → enter results as you go.
Not sure which format to pick?
Our guides compare the formats, suggest recommended battle royale scoring and share tips on running a tournament for a school or kids.
Tip: Up to 100 players: go for a points-based competition over 4–6 rounds; for a LAN party with spectators, a Box Fight bracket.

Fortnite – FAQ
How is a Fortnite tournament scored?
Most often placement points (e.g. 30 points for a Victory Royale, descending through the top 10) plus 1–2 points per elimination. You set the scoring yourself – FNCS-style if you like – and the standings are recalculated automatically after every round.
How many players fit in a tournament?
A custom lobby holds up to 100 players. With more players, split the tournament into qualifying lobbies and send the best to the finals lobby.
Is it suitable for a school tournament or kids?
Yes. Registration via link, simple scoring and live standings on the projector – ideal for schools, clubs and camps. The tournament can be private and invite-only.
Does crossplay work between PC, consoles and mobile?
Yes. Fortnite supports full crossplay – players on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile join the custom lobby with a single code. They state their platform during registration if you want to split them.
How much does it cost?
The basics are free – you can create and run a tournament, league or points-based competition at no charge.
