Organising an NBA 2K tournament or an NBA 2K league? Whether you play NBA 2K25 or NBA 2K26, Blyzer makes one-off tournaments and whole seasons easier to run – from player and team registration, through the match schedule and bracket, to results and standings. Works for 1v1 matches with NBA teams, 2v2 and 3v3 battles and 5v5 Pro-Am leagues on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Works for online community tournaments, school esports competitions and LAN events – NBA 2K25 and 2K26 on PS5, Xbox and PC.
Registration via link – individuals for 1v1, or teams with a roster for 3v3 and 5v5 Pro-Am.
Choose the format – groups, play-off, round-robin or a season – and the system builds the schedule.
Match scores, BO3 series, win-loss records – the standings are recalculated after every match.
PS5, Xbox and PC in one tournament – Blyzer handles the organisation, players arrange the game on their console.
From a quick 1v1 bracket to a full Pro-Am season with play-offs. Pick a format and Blyzer generates the schedule, standings and bracket – you can set it all up in the wizard in a few minutes.
Players or teams are split into groups like NBA conferences, play round-robin and the best advance to the play-off bracket. The most popular format for community NBA 2K tournaments with 8 to 32 participants.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → number of groups and qualifiers → Generate groups → Generate play-off.
Everyone plays a match against every opponent, the record and score decide the final order. Ideal for smaller 1v1 tournaments of up to 8 players or a class tournament on a single console.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → 1 group, no play-off → Generate matches.
Lose and you're out – a fast format for a large number of players at a LAN event or online. Seeding by ranking or by draw, the final is usually BO3.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → no groups, play-off only → Seed players → Generate bracket.
Everyone gets two chances – after the first loss they continue in the losers' bracket. Fairer for online matches, where a single connection drop shouldn't decide the whole tournament.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → double-elimination play-off → Generate bracket.
A multi-week league like a real NBA season – rounds on a calendar, standings with records, score and head-to-head results, play-offs at the end. For communities, schools and 5v5 Pro-Am teams.
How to: Create league → Configure → number of rounds and teams → Generate schedule → enter results as you go.
Our guides compare the formats, recommend options by player count and available time, and share tips on seeding and handling disconnects.
Tip: 8–16 players and a single evening: go for groups + play-off; over several weeks, a league with play-offs.
In the wizard, set the number of players or teams, the format (groups, play-off, round-robin) and series length – BO1 or BO3.
Send a registration link – players state their platform and gamertag, Pro-Am team captains fill in their rosters.
After every match, record the score and Blyzer instantly updates the standings, records and bracket.
Less admin, more time for playing. Players, teams and spectators always have up-to-date information on matches, results and standings – on the web and on mobile.
Yes. The page and the tournaments cover both versions – when creating the tournament you just state which one you're playing. Formats, schedule and results are the same.
NBA 2K supports cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Series, PC has its own matchmaking. In Blyzer, list the allowed platforms in the tournament description and players fill theirs in during registration.
There are no ties in basketball – a match always has a winner. For BO3, record the series result (2:0, 2:1) and the bracket advances automatically.
From 4 teams upwards. With 6 to 12 teams we recommend a double round-robin league (home/away) and play-offs for the top 4.
The basics are free – you can create and run a tournament or league at no charge.
Create a tournament or league in NBA 2K25 or 2K26, invite players and manage everything clearly on Blyzer.
