How to: Create race → Configure → categories and discipline → open entries → enter times → show rankings.

Not sure which format to pick?

Our guides compare the formats, give recommendations by number of competitors and categories, and share tips on start intervals and the shooting range timetable.

Tip: For a one-off event choose a race; for a series of races over the winter, a cup with points.

Biathlon – FAQ

How are penalty loops or penalty minutes handled?

You enter the final time including penalties (penalty loops show in the time, penalty minutes you add on) and Blyzer ranks competitors by it. You can note the number of shooting misses in a comment.

Can the race be split by categories?

Yes. You set age and gender categories (e.g. youth, junior women, veterans) and each has its own start list and rankings.

Is it suitable for summer biathlon and youth races too?

Yes. A summer biathlon with air rifles, a run-and-shoot race or a youth cup gets entries, a start list and results in minutes.

Can I organise a cup with several rounds?

Yes. Create a league, set the number of rounds and points for placings – the overall cup standings add up automatically after every race.

How much does it cost?

The basics are free – you can create and organise a biathlon race or cup at no charge.
