Choose the format that fits your event – Blyzer prepares the start list, results and standings. You can set up any format in the wizard in a few minutes.

An individual race – every competitor or crew starts for themselves and the ranking is decided by time including penalty seconds. For canoe sprint, slalom, wildwater and marathon.

How to: Create race → Configure → boat classes and courses → open entries → enter times → show rankings.

Canoeing cup / league

A series of races over the season – competitors or clubs collect points for their placing in each round and the overall standings add up. For regional cups, youth series and club leagues.

Dragon boats and club competition

A competition of crews and teams – corporate dragon boat teams or clubs collecting points for their competitors' placings. The team with the best total wins.

How to: Create tournament → Configure → 1 group, no play-off → add crews → enter times or points.

Knockout heats

Heats, semi-finals and finals as a knockout bracket – the best boats from each heat advance. Suitable for 200 m sprints, dragon boats and spectator-friendly formats.

Not sure which format to pick?

Our guides compare the formats, give recommendations by number of competitors and classes, and share tips on start intervals and the on-water timetable.

Tip: For a one-off event choose a race with boat classes; for a series of races over the season, a cup with points.

Kayak and canoe – FAQ

Can the race be split by boat class and age?

Yes. You set classes (K1, C1, K2, C2, K4, dragon boats) and age groups (youth, juniors, seniors, masters) – each has its own start list and rankings.

How are penalty seconds in slalom handled?

You enter the run time and penalty seconds for touching or missing a gate – Blyzer adds up the final time and ranks competitors by it.

Is it suitable for corporate dragon boat races too?

Yes. Corporate crews enter via a link, you generate heats and finals in minutes and everyone sees the results online.

Can I organise a cup with several rounds?

Yes. Create a league, set the number of rounds and points for placings – the overall cup standings add up automatically after every race.

How much does it cost?
