Organising a speedrun race, a head-to-head tournament or a community speedrun league? Blyzer makes the organisation easier, from runner registration, through rankings by finishing time, to a 1v1 elimination bracket and season standings. Works for any game and category – any%, 100%, randomizer and bingo – on PC, consoles and emulators. Runners run their game, Blyzer handles entries, times and rankings.
Works for speedrun communities, Discord race events, charity marathons and LAN events – PC, console and emulator.
Runners sign up via a link with their name, category and stream link – you just confirm the starting list.
Runners record their finishing time and Blyzer ranks them from fastest to slowest – ideal for asynchronous races and live races alike.
Two runners run at the same time, the faster one advances – a single or double elimination bracket generated automatically.
Weekly races with placement points, running standings and an archive of all times.
Speedrunning is about time – either against the clock or against an opponent at the same time. Pick a format and Blyzer generates the rankings, bracket or standings; you can set it all up in the wizard in a few minutes.
Runners sign up individually, run the assigned game and category (live on stream or any time before the deadline) and record their time. Ranked from fastest to slowest – the basic format for speedrun races and weekly challenges, with no match schedule.
How to: Create race → Configure → best time (less = better) → open registration → runners record their times.
Two runners run the same category at the same time, the faster one advances, the slower one is out. Seeding by personal bests or a qualifying race – the same format as GDQ and community tournaments.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → no groups, play-off only → Seed runners → Generate bracket.
Every runner gets two chances – after the first loss they continue in the losers' bracket. Fairer for games where a single reset or bad RNG shouldn't decide the whole tournament.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → double-elimination play-off → Generate bracket.
Runners are split into groups, run a head-to-head race against everyone in the group and the best advance to the bracket. The randomizer tournament format for 8 to 32 runners, with more matches for everyone.
How to: Create tournament → Configure → number of groups and qualifiers → Generate groups → Generate play-off.
A multi-week season – one race or a new category every week, placement points, running standings. For Discord communities and randomizer leagues.
How to: Create league → Configure → number of rounds and runners → Generate schedule → enter results as you go.
In the wizard, set the game, category (any%, 100%, randomizer…), the format – time competition, head-to-head bracket or league – and the number of runners.
Send the registration link to your Discord – runners state their name, platform and stream link; announce the rules and deadline in the description.
In a time competition, runners record their own time; in head-to-head, you record the winner – Blyzer instantly recalculates the rankings, bracket and standings.
Less admin in spreadsheets, more time for running. Runners and spectators see the current leaderboard, bracket and round schedule – on the web and on mobile.
We recommend requiring a stream VOD or a recording with a timer in the rules. The organiser can adjust a recorded time or disqualify a run.
No. A time competition can be asynchronous – everyone runs any time before the deadline and records their time. In a head-to-head bracket, opponents run at the same time, ideally on a shared stream.
Yes. For a randomizer, send the seed in the match description; for bingo, record the winner of the duel – the bracket or group format is the same.
Record it as DNF (did not finish) – in a time competition it goes to the bottom of the ranking, in head-to-head the opponent advances.
The basics are free – you can create and run a race, tournament or league at no charge.
Create a time competition, head-to-head tournament or league, invite runners and manage everything clearly on Blyzer.
