Most popular F1 25 league and race formats

Pick the format that fits your competition – Blyzer generates the calendar, scoring and standings. You can set up any format in the wizard in a few minutes.

Race / points-based competition

A one-off race or sprint weekend – drivers sign up individually, points for finishing position using the F1 system (25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1) or your own. Standings right after the race.

How to: Create race → Configure → placement points → circuit and date → enter results after the race.

Time trial

Every driver sets their fastest lap on the chosen circuit within a set time window, ranked by lap time. Ideal for school competitions and open qualifiers without a shared lobby.

How to: Create race → Configure → ranking by time → circuit and date → drivers upload their times.

League championship

A full season – 10 to 24 Grands Prix on the calendar, driver and constructor points add up in the championship standings. For communities, Discord leagues and sim racing clubs.

How to: Create league → Configure → number of races and drivers → Generate calendar → enter results as you go.

Qualifying duels (bracket)

A 1v1 elimination format – two drivers, one lap or a short race, the faster one advances. A fun format for LAN parties or streams with a 3rd-place match.

How to: Create tournament → Configure → no groups, play-off only → Seed drivers → Generate bracket.

Qualifying groups + final

With more than 20 drivers, split the grid into several lobbies (groups); the best from each advance to the final race for the overall win.

Not sure which format to pick?

Our guides compare the formats, suggest recommended points systems, share tips on league rules (penalties, damage settings) and on running several lobbies.

Tip: Up to 20 drivers and a regular slot? Go for a league championship. A one-off event? A race or time trial.

F1 25 – FAQ

Can I use the Formula 1 points system?

Yes. The standard 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 points take seconds to set up, or you can customise your own – including the bonus point for fastest lap or sprint points.

How many drivers can be in a league?

One F1 25 lobby holds 22 drivers. With more interest, split the league into several divisions or run qualifying groups and a final.

Does it work without a shared lobby?

Yes. For a time trial, drivers set their fastest lap any time within the deadline, upload their time (screenshot) and the ranking is compiled automatically.

Does the league support crossplay between PC and consoles?

Yes. Drivers state their platform during registration (PC, PlayStation, Xbox) and you decide whether the league is crossplay or separate.

How much does it cost?

The basics are free – you can create and run a league, race or time trial at no charge.
